Sky’s streaming movie service, Now TV, has finally landed on something other than the Xbox. If you’ve got a Roku, you can now pull down yet more movies, and eventually Sky Sports and Sky Atlantic, on your cheap, mini TV streamer of choice. It’s just a shame it’s still not on the PS3. [Sky]

Have you seen the cost of this service? They’ve been advertising it as £7.99 (which is more expensive than LoveFilm & NetFlix) but the small print states that price is for the first 3 months only then it’ll double to £14.99. Whoa bskyb, you get enough from me with my Sky Sports subscription, plus all the ads you show, now you want £15 for a streaming service. No chance.
You already have a free Sky streaming service called Sky Go with your subscription.
I’m on Virgin (who give even MORE money to bskyb) and I don’t get Sky Go. Now TV is a separate service to Sky Go, so if you’ve got the full package with sky you still need to more for this service. Insane!
