Are you head over heels in love with your MacBook? (Fanboy! (Just like me!)) Then why spoil its design with some jacked-up USB tumour? This sleek flash drive is the perfect complement to your beloved Apple hardware, even going so far as to match its silvery finish.
Available in 16 and 32GB capacities for £38 and £51 respectively, these ultra-compact flash drives from Elecom add a bit of stylish extra storage to your hardware. And given their compact cylindrical design sits flush to the edge of your laptop, in theory you’ll never need, or want, to remove it. Besides, why would you ever lend it to someone and risk never getting it back?

‘ in theory you’ll never need, or want, to remove it ‘
You may have missed the point of a flash drive there…
Exactly what I thought. If you need more storage, get a bigger hard drive. As far as I know you can do that even on most Apple laptops. USB sticks are for transfer or backup in a pinch.
Who are you to say what people should use it for?
It’s very handy if you want a bit of extra space but want it to be discrete. What if I want something to store my music on but don’t want to put it on my hard drive? Are you telling me I can’t use this as a solution because its “not what they’re for”?
I think you’ve misread my statement, I’m not telling anyone what they can or cannot use it for. I was just saying that ‘generally’ flash drives are designed to be portable and therefore frequently removed. Do what you want with yours.
I was replying to “If you need more storage, get a bigger hard drive.”

Who put a stick up your arse this evening? I made a comment on an article, I didn’t come round to your house and impinge upon your freedoms.
Maybe it’s not a stick, maybe it’s a flash drive?
Uh… I don’t think you understand what flush means if you think this is.
Just get a Windows Laptop for 1/4 of the price :\
….What?
I’m with mouse here – what?
If I could get a laptop for a 1/4 of the price of this flash drive and it worked I’d be very impressed!
It’s so small I would find it even more easy to lose it than a normal-sized flash drive.
So before, you’re a twunt with an expensive laptop.
Now, you’re also a twunt with an expensive USB flash drive.
