Mario or Assassin's Creed For Wii U Is Your Cutesy-or-Killing Deal of the Day
This Bluetooth Controller Is Fluent in Wii, Wii U, and Android
Gorge Yourself on the Wii U's Naked Guts
I think i’ll wait 6 months for the Wii U, then the price will be halved and it will be worth having.
So not really “deals” as such, more “full price rip off’s for early adopters”
” 32GB of storage” you mean 16GB of storage, they come in 8GB and 16GB storage options, the rest of the space is taken up by the OS
Are you trolling or just silly?
Nope, The 16GB versions has 8GB of storage and the 32GB version has 16GB of storage.
Nice proof of your trolling, there are two surface tablets; 32GB and 64GB. And the 64GB one I’m using to write this has currently over 45GB of space free.
The file explorer says the drove is a total of 54GB in size, I put this down to a 8GB restore partition.
So while it is fashionable to mock Microsoft, do try and do it when you have actually used the device.
From Microsoft’s own website: “The 32 GB version has approximately 16 GB free hard disk space”
The demo unit I tried which had 16GB of space had only 8GB of usable space.
http://www.microsoft.com/Surface/en-US/support/surface-with-windows-RT/files-folders-and-online-storage/surface-disk-space-faq
So this is different from other devices which state the un-formatted memory size how?
By the fact it uses so much, If you buy a 32GB modle and only get half of that you will be pissed.
Where should the line be drawn with OS/ Pre-installed apps before you have to stop reporting the the storage capacity of the device and instead state whats left?
Would it be better if the surface didn’t come with apps (inc office) pre-installed so there was more room?
Should recovery tools need another PC to use, to free up more room?
A 16GB iPad comes with 12GB usable, a 32GB iPad comes with 28GB usable and that include the apps that come with it. They should have made the OS and pre-installed apps use less space. The OS and pre-installed apps should use 25% MAX.
“As of tomorrow John Lewis will be be offering the new Surface tablet for order on their website. Apparently it will be available in-store by the weekend”
Isn’t it kinda news worthy that John Lewis will be the first place we can get our hands on the Surface?
