Get charitable is not available in the UK
Weather Live seemed really cool, and I was thrilled when it said “free” in the article, but on Play it’s 61p. Tell me I’m not the only one?
Weather Live seems to be 61p, not enough to break the bank, but not free as the article says. Also Google Zeitgeist isn’t available in the UK, so why have it in a UK based article?
Google Zeitgeist is – I just downloaded it.
If you want accurate weather data for the UK, get one that pulls It’s data from the Met Office. I recommend Uk Weather.
The only weather app I ever use is the Met Office one, spot on forecasts and good set of breakdowns and maps. Why would anyone in the UK not use the Met Office app for weather is beyond me? Everything else is dealing with 2nd hand info.
Agree with that, I only use the Met Office app, lots of detail as you say and I like that I can have multiple preset locations on extra pages.
Such a good feature. I was travelling between North West, South coast and London over a period and being able to get a good forecast as I bounced between locations was a real blessing – I could delay to miss the wind and rain and pack light – I think I had more sunny days in the UK this summer than most.
Also the hourly local forecasts for that day are amazing, you can book a sunny walk for 3pm. I have a friend those job relies on it not raining and he lives by it.
A met office 3 day forecast is good, the met office local daily forecasts are spot on.
