Forget guns, records, even hideous iPhone cases; Ralf Holleis has found the best use of 3D printers and like any technology, it involves food. Namely delicious Christmas cookies.
Designed in 3D modelling software the holiday treats are then printed using a cookie dough-filled syringe, instead of melted plastic like a traditional 3D model. And while the sugar-infused masterpieces lose some of their detail once they come out of the oven, they still kick the crap out of sugar cookie snowmen.
And here’s to hoping this is just the first step towards a 3D printed holiday feast. Just imagine what a printer could do with mashed potatoes, gravy, or figgy pudding. [Ralf Holleis via Notcot]

Awesome usage, along with 3D printed chocolate, I could have a lot of fun with this.
