Comixology, the biggest provider of digital comic books and the engine behind the Marvel and DC apps, just announced it’s got a new automatic bookmark feature called Continue. That’s great—and it’s about time.

The Continue feature works on iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8 and the Web client. So you won’t lose your place going from your iPad to your browser. The feature brings Comixology in line with Amazon, iBooks, and other digital booksellers who have had cross-platform bookmarking for a while. Still, Comixology is generally much more stable than those platforms for comics, and is certainly more prevalent, so it’s a nice addition. [Comixology]
