Fancy some free apps, music, TV shows and movies? Of course you do! So checkout Google’s new ‘surprise calendar‘ and let big G splurge free goodies all over your Android-loving bodies.
Not everything will be totally 100-per cent free, with some things likely to only be discounted. But hell, 10p for a whole bunch of apps? That’s a heck of a lot better than a kick in the teeth. There’s a small catch for us UKers, though, in that not all the offers will be open to us, but you can try em out and see.
For instance, today’s offer, or more accurately, last night’s offer, is a free app and $35 towards a hotel stay, which may or may not work on our shores. Basically, this year, to save you from tears, Google’s partnered with specific companies to give you the goods, not just direct from the Play Store.
Anyway, a new deal should be up later today, so keep your eyes peeled for more free stuff. [Google Play via TechCrunch]
