Nintendo has an eternal soft spot in my heart. The NES, SNES, N64, GameBoy and DS had a lasting impact on my childhood. The original Wii was the most fun I had playing video games in a long time. Nintendo probably means the same for you! (unless you were a Sega and Sony guy). Watch this video to see the all the video game consoles that Nintendo has ever made. It’s a walk back memory lane. Here's What $100 Worth of Gaming Console Looks Iike Inside
Nintendo's Wii U Launching Here in Time For Christmas
A Historically Awesome Gaming Setup with Every Console in Existence
It’s a really nice video but I have a few critiques/complaints:
1. No GBA SP, come on, really?
2. Placing Gameboy Micro before the DS, ruining the chronological order.
3. Placing Gamecube before GBA – ruining Chronological order.
4. Not showing any games for the Gamecube, Wii or 3DS.
3. DS Lite came out 2006. Why does it say 2004-2006?
4. 3DS XL was released 2012 not 2011.
5. No sign of the Virtual Boy or Gameboy Pocket either.
6. Not showing Tetris/Pokemon on the Gameboy (1989)
7. Personal complaint but the GBA segment just looks messy to me compared to the rest of the video.
All of Nintendo’s consoles…
….that were a commercial success
Not to mention they forgot Nintendo’s first ‘console’, the Color TV Game… which was just a home Pong machine of which there were many at the time basically, but should still count.
(They also distributed the Magnavox Odyssey in Japan… perhaps that should count as well, considering its the first ever home game console?)
