The BlackBerry 10 L-Series, which has been spied before, just got a full centrefold at Tinhte.vn and the biggest surprise? It kind of looks wonderful. The L-Series, which is also known as the hail mary phone that RIM is banking the entire company on, looks a lot like an iPhone 5 from some angles but at the same time, feels decidedly BlackBerry.

Aah bless. I have to hand it to BB, at least they keep trying!
This is like those VW Golf commercials; “If you look at it in a low light and squint a bit, it almost looks like an iPhone 5″
I’ve got to admit, the front looks kind of beautiful. I kind of want it to succeed so RIM get back in the biz, Samsung and Apple could do with some more competition. On the other hand, I don’t want it to be better than my brand new Nexus 4…
I have to agree, i hope RIM can get back in the game again, the market is kind of dull with two players..
Its a bit like Rangers and Celtic football teams no one else got a look in
(i know rangers have now been relegated before someone points that out)
What about HTC?
Won’t somebody please think of HTC!
Loved it on the first glance, since I had no luck with N4 may be this would come in a nice wallet-friendly price tag? Howay RIM!
Fairly sure I can already hear apple’s lawyers limbering up for their next lawsuit!
RIP Blackberry, way too little way too late.
How can you know that from a few leaked pictures?
Because the same stubborn fools are still in charge at RIM and they have left it too late as they’ve haemorrhaged market share and user base to the point of no return. They’ve basically repeated the mistake Nokia made by sticking with symbian too long but have waited even longer than Nokia to try and do something about it. Obviously this is just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.
This. If you make your product so much like an iPhone yet not an iPhone and priced the same as one, you can guess where your potential audience are going to go.
I think it looks rather nice. Need some sort of cover for the side connectors (it spoils the look a little)
I have no interest in Blackberry but more competition can only ever be a good thing with Google/Apple/Samsung dominating the mobile space
I can’t understand people who use blackberrys. The business model is flawed for one very important reason, they all rely on the blackberry server. To do anything with a blackberry you need to pay blackberry extra money on top of the contract price. This has two problems associated with it:
1. It costs more however sometimes the networks do eat this cost.
2. You introduce a second point of failure as seen in outages that only effect blackberrys which is what really killed their market share in the UK.
More and more companies are rolling out BYOD and put 3rd party software now a days.
I have to say this is probably the first peice of Blackberry hardware I really like the design of (with the exception of the porsche designed phone that nearly everyone hated – yet I though was bueautiful – at least on the outside as it was the same ol sh*te on the inside!).
Blackberry 10 looks mazing as an OS as well, it all just comes down to how developers get on board with it… or IF! We actually had a guy from RIM call us trying to get us to develop for 10, and even he said the old OS was sh*te which says a lot.
Should be interesting to see when it comes out, but can it compete with android and iOS is another matter – certainly looks the most visually sexy OS out at the moment,
Wow. It’s as if they were jealous of everyone else being sued by Apple so they decided to jump on the bandwagon too.
Next years news will certainly be “Apple sues Motorola, makes Blackberry Crumble”
See… while it looks really pretty, it’ll have to work really well too. Thing is though, with any failing company with proprietary software, the concern is is my product going to be supported in 6 months time?
