You’ve probably been waiting on this one for a while — Google has just now updated its YouTube app for the iPad and the iPhone 5′s larger screen.
The app also got AirPlay streaming. And even though you’ve been anticipating this refresh for a couple of months, it’s no surprise that it took this long, despite YouTube being one of Google’s most-used products. I’ve been using Jasmine but it may be time to move back. It’s a great app though (Jasmine), nice UI but the only problem being that Google keep demanding they remove features …I guess because they’re competing directly now?
Google Voice? When will we get that in the UK I wonder?
Still no background play. I’ll just continue to use safari.
YouTube is for video, background play seems pointless to me.
Not really. I listen to videos at night. And I know there’s quite a few people wanting background play.
