No matter what you’re into, I think it’s pretty safe to say controlled chemistry experiements that involve explosions are cool. As it turns out, they’re not only cool to watch, but can be pretty cool to listen to as well. At least, when you line them up the right way.
That’s exactly what the brains behind the YouTube channel periodicvideo did, and the result is not only a blast (ha!) to watch, but a pleasure to listen to as well. Your mileage may vary as to whether or not this is “dubstep” as the title of the video describes, though that weird tube-y blue fire explosion does sound a bit like wobble bass. But NO, you have proven me wrong. Any Uncertainty I may have had about this publication has been Variationally lowered and indeed the video shown contains many key Elements of a Basis Set for the Superposition of factors needed to make a Noble music and chemistry exploration.
When I was a child(in the eyes of the law, luckily) two friends and i decided to make some “bombs”. We mixed potassium nitrate (readily available from the local farming supplies) and some sugar into the required quantities, along with some experimentation and set fire to 2 vehicles (brand new) in my home town. Believe you me, it only leads to grief. (lots of it) So, kids, don’t do it.Explosives are for grown ups.
