You know those enormous satellite dishes that uplink to satellites and command nuclear strikes from high-Earth orbit, Goldeneye-style? Imagine jumping between them, in and out of the dishes, pulling tricks on a BMX. Yes, this man is insane, and yes, that’s one hell of a view. [Redbull]

Freesat's New Freetime Service Is Basically YouView With a Satellite Dish
Sat Chair Hides Your Satellite Dish In Plain Sight
It's Like a Ginormous Slingshot, But for Planes
I could do that on a unicycle
While they are high up, they are all close together and he doesn’t go that near any edge where there isn’t another dish that he would have fallen into. So, cool, but not “insane”.

I true Wile E Coyote moment.
It was the crap falling off them as he rode over them that got me. Easily have gone straight through.
So he was risking tetnus? That can be nasty.
We’d be talking at least 1/4″ thickness of the metal on that dish with solid supporting struts, with a millimetre of flaking rust and paint on top – you could drive a car safely over that thing.
And on top of that I don’t think he goes closer than 4 feet to the edge, does he suffer from vertigo? He brakes on the front wheel and spins the back end of the bike out, that would have looked stunning to do right on the edge of the dish while spinning the bike over the edge. If he doesn’t go near the edge or use the edge of the dish then he is as safe as he is in a bowl on the ground – very safe, a pointless exercise in stunts for cowards.
Very safe is perhaps on overstatement.
Probably is as a description, but ‘insane’ is joke. Yet is cowardly an overstatement? Considering the time and effort he didn’t to take the risks. If he was a cherub I’d say, cupid stunt, as he isn’t I’d say….
He could have lost track of which edges are interconnected and which ones lead to a long plummet to the ground.
Damn, they are high and those dishes look well rusty
This was amazingly less awesome than expected
So that’s why my Sky signal was so sh#t – I want a goddamn refund!
Watching the vid I can’t help thinking why on earth he bothered to wear that crash helmet… Surely if he fell off that it would be a little pointless?
Yeah, but imagine if he landed it and lost it at the last second and hit his head on the dish. If the head injuries didn’t kill him, the irony might!
Chuck Norris could do that on a pogo stick
