If the DVD is dead and the Blu-ray is king, it might be a good idea to have a way to watch said Blu-ray discs on your computer, mightn’t it?
Et voila, this external Blu-ray drive could be right up your street at only £18.48 delivered. Not only will it read Blu-rays and 3D discs, it’ll even burn CDs and DVDs as well! Well, obviously, you’d expect it to. Just don’t go using it for naughtiness, okay? There’s another one for £19.94 but that seems a bit expensive.
- The Shawshank Redemption (Blu-ray) – only £5.49.
- TP Link 150Mbps wireless N nano router – £16.78 delivered.
- How To Train Your Dragon (Blu-ray double play) – just £6.69.
- 4th gen iPod Shuffle (2GB) — only £29.99.

With HMV and Blockbuster closed, £18.48 for the BluRay player sounds a bit steep :-p
Steep? Those drives are at minimum double that price, look on amazon they range from £50-150. If it wasn’t for the paypal only I would be getting one just to rip out and throw in my PC.
Whoosh !
Wow… just, wow
Why does anyone need to buy the shawshank redemption? Its an awesome movie but I feel at any given point in the day.. it is on tv somewhere.
At least three times a week on Film 4 I think. Indeed, it’s known as “the Shawshank channel” in my house. Then there’s “the Nazi shark channel” (Discovery). But I digress…..
I bought one of these drives a couple weeks back, works well and you can’t argue with the price. Bear in mind that it comes with no software and there is almost none available for free that will playback Blurays due to licensing, however there is a workaround for VLC which I ended up doing and it has been fine so far.
