“Helicopter Crashes Right on the Beach” – No Jesus, the beach is the sandy thing where the cameraman and the other people are standing. The helicopter crashes into the sea. Near the beach sure but, not on the beach. It was probably safer for it to crash there than risk hitting people on the beach.
I know Jesus isn’t the sharpest tool in the box, but this really takes the biscuit.
Obviously, the pilot crashed because he is an idiot who mistook the sea for the air, just like he mistakes the sea for the beach. It couldn’t possibly be that the helicopter had some kind of mechanical problem that forced it down. He knows because he is an expert helicopter pilot and can just tell from watching a video.
I wish I could make a living just trawling youtube for videos and then writing idiotic commentaries about something I have seem but clearly have no idea what is going on.
Lesson one: Don’t fly over water unless you know how.
May be beach is not a safe flying zone, because of the air pressure differentiation between sea and land? Also the sudden change of wind direction may be.
I read somewhere else that they blamed a mechanical fault.
When I first watched it, it looked as if he was trying to park it on the water, there didn’t seem to be anything wrong except that they got too close to the water.
maybe the pilot has the same problem as Jesus and can’t tell the difference between the beach and the sea.
Twin engined helicopter are much better under these circumstances.

I dunno, if your helicopter is going down anyway, that’s probably the best place to crash it. Soft landing and quick swim to shore.
