The Nexus 4′s one hell of a phone — if you can get your hands on it, that is — but you can only buy it in boring ‘ole black. However, for the fashion-concious ladies (and gents who don’t like black), Google might just have a white Nexus 4 prepped for sale.
PhoneArena’s got their hands on an image that purports to show a white Nexus 4, complete with the trademark garish stylish sparkly back. The image apparently comes from an anonymous source, so there’s not much else to say here — it’s a photo of what looks like a white version of Google’s superphone. Beyond that, there’s no telling if it’ll ever be released, or when, or even if this is real or just an intrepid hoaxer with a black Nexus 4 and a can of spray paint.
If that wasn’t enough news to already send you Android fan-boys and girls into a tizzy, Nexus 4-wannabe owners get another ray of hope this morning — Germany, the US and Canada all have the Nexus 4 back in stock at the moment, so there’s a decent chance that you’ll get another chance to snap up the Nexus 4 at Google prices in the near future. Update: Vietnamese site Tin Te has the full range of pictures; of course, this could still be an elaborate hoax, and we have no way of knowing if this is a prototype or a pre-production model, but there you go. Check out the full range of pics on their site.

Mine finally turned up on Friday last week after ordering it on 5th December. Love it!
I love it too, mainly because you never get to the point where the phone starts lagging because you’ve got too much going on in the background; It’ just breezes through everything you throw at it which is a fantastic experience.
However, I have some niggles with the phone now I’ve had it for a while:
• There’s an extremely annoying keyboard bug where by you press the ‘O’ key and instead it thinks you’ve held the ‘O’ key and it enters a ’9′ instead. It’s intermittent, but it happens A LOT and really needs fixing, because it makes it impossible to write texts sometimes.
• The lock pattern screen is sometimes completely unresponsive for some reason, maybe because Android thinks you’re trying to access the left/right lock screen widgets.
• The screen could be more responsive in general. Whether this is hardware or software limitations I’m not sure, but this is a very minor thing and differs between apps.
Damn you Google. Sell it in more countries already!
