Still keep my hotmail address tho right? MSN used to be so good back in like 2001 but Microsoft let it go to shit. Also after I left school there was little reason to use it as adults don’t really use chat software.
MSN turned into all ur friends accounts get hacked and suddenly they’re Stephanie 18 from Canada and she is in London for one weekend only to see you lol. That or every other second you were getting invites by cam girls…

I’m more or less an adult and use GTalk. Haven’t used MSN in about 10 years though. Logged on a couple of years ago and pretty much everyone was blocked because I wanted to avoid them, so I won’t miss it much
Until about May I used MSN Messenger because of its Facebook Chat integration – now I just use Facebook Messenger. It won’t be missed, but it will be remembered very fondly.

Hmm, will need to find out whether bitlbee will be able to handle any messaging via Skype. Or any of the others I suppose. I’ve not used a single-protocol IM client for a very long time.

Like yea it was cool back in the day but now its a pile of shite – I installed it on my win8 test machine and wish i hadnt – the messenger feature built in is good enough… M$ could have kept it nice and neat but decided not to bother… nuff said.
just to think that children these days will be hearing about ancient artifacts like Woolworths and MySpace, but also Hotmail and MSN Messenger…
