If you feel like most movies that come out are cookie cutter versions of movies that already came out, you’re not alone. Sometimes Hollywood doesn’t even try to change anything. Just take a look at the latest movie poster design cliche: the lone-standing hero looking at destruction/buildings/destroyed buildings with his back turned to us.
If you can think of other movies that abuse this design, show us more of this movie poster cliche below. And don’t forget Hollywood’s other tricks like tiny people on a beach with giant heads in the clouds and showing off an actress from behind. [Live for Films via TDW]

Is There Something Everyone Loves That You Secretly Hate?
…and then there’s the Modern Warfare series, and umpteen other war games.
I don’t appreciate the lack of originality in films these days, and it’s even sadder when it’s spilling onto the posters.

That’s exactly who I was thinking of. Him and Don LaFontaine (may he rest in peace
)
I don’t get the batman one…
We’re clearly seeing it in first person from Bruce Wayne’s eyes. DUHHHHHH.
I kid of course, I don’t get it either…
It’s a poor show when only 5/6 posters in an article actually demonstrate what the article is about.
Seen this a few days ago.
…and yet all tech blogs, such as Gizmodo, all manage to look wildly different from all other tech blogs.
well compare Gizmodo to Engadget or T3
1 man…. in a world that’s all gone tits up…. that he has to save and sort out…. where all is going well at 1st…. then something happens and it looks like the villain is going to win…. then 20 minutes before the end the hero comes back, sorts it all and everything is good again…..
