Panasonic’s latest Viera televisions include 16 Plasmas up to 65-inches, and 16 LED and LCD all up to 55-inches. The new lineup is led by the new Smart Viera ZT60 series, and new VT60-series and ST60-series plasmas that all come equipped with many of Panasonic’s totally-overwrought personalisation and Smart Viera features.
Speaking of which, the new ZT60 3D plasma flagship is lovely, and available in both 60 and 65-inch models, featuring a new “Studio Master Panel” which produces deep black reproduction. The VT60 is the follow up to last year’s badass VT50 and comes in 55, 60, and 65-inch models. The bottom ST60 class doesn’t have 3D and comes in 42, 50, 55, 60, and 65-inch models.
The 16 new LED televisions also go up to 65-inches. There are four classes: VIERA WT60, DT60, ET60, and E60. The WT60 flagship only goes up to 55-inches, with the WT60 and DT60 being the only TVs which feature the aforementioned smart features.
You can get a big 65-inch TV if you want, but you’ll have to go to the E60 series.
So far, no big monster 4K OLED anything, but Panasonic hinted that something of that sort might be on the way at the Panasonic keynote tomorrow.

nice to see panny is still supporting the plasma.
got mine three years ago because my pioneer was aging and the first wave of 3d tvs were coming in.
still not as good as the kuro but hopefully this is the year panny will finally be able to match pioneer’s quality.
I have a Plasma, prefer it to LCD because with LCD I always end up with dead pixels but also because the colours are much better and the viewing angles are better.
I don’t care what the advertising says 170o viewing angles on LCD my arse, more like 40o because the picture becomes fucked.
After Pioneer (RIP), Panasonic is who I buy
Were there any small screen announcements? Perfectly happy with my main TV, but I fancy a new small/bedroom one.
