Ever wanted to fill your blank site with the wise words of Commander Riker from Star Trek the Next Generation? Well now you can. Riker Ipsum spits out choice quote after choice quote, perfect fodder for your next design project, or frankly, your next blog post, because Riker’s way more interesting than you.
“But the probability of making a six is no greater than that of rolling a seven.”
“Captain, why we are we out here chasing comets?”
“Sure. You’d be surprised how far a hug goes with Geordi, or Worf.”
“I am your worst nightmare!”
“I’ve had twelve years to think about it. And if I had it to do over again, I would have grabbed the phaser and pointed it at you instead of them.”
“You did exactly what you had to do. You considered all your options, you tried every alternative and then you made the hard choice. Come on. Let’s get out of here, Commander.”
Wise words indeed. [Riker Ipsum]

Muscles Made From Wax-Filled Yarn Are Way Stronger Than Yours
At times petulant, prone to emotional outbursts and with an ego the size of a large moon, he had to be one of the most poorly thought out characters on TNG.
That’s what happens when you let actors produce stuff. Still, I was kind of fond of him. He always had a big ear-to-ear smile — the father Christmas of sci-fi.
“Did you come here for something in particular or just general Riker-bashing?”
Great scene. And there are some parts of Riker that enjoyable – not least that trombone. And the beard.
But what can you say of someone who, in front of the entire senior staff, says “I have been, reluctantly, forced to conclude that Commander Shelby, our expert on the Borg is an ideal choice at this time for a first officer”. Way to undermine your staff’s confidence in your decision making in a crisis!
If I was Shelby I’d be thinking “Riker, you are such a doucebag!”
It’s funny because that still is taken from Star Trek: Generations, the first feature film featuring TNG Crew and there is no Borg ship in that film.
Ha, I’m amazed anyone noticed! Hats off dude.
Even though I’m a bit of a Trekkie I still prefer the Samuel L Jackson version.
Riker was a whore monger of highest order!
I’m off to Risa!
