As if five inches wasn’t already near enough tablet proportions, Sony’s apparently about to launch a larger tablet version of its forthcoming Xperia Z at full 10″ size.
According to leaked specs, the Xperia Z tablet (or Tablet Z perhaps) runs at a slightly higher resolution than that of the lovely looking phone, outputting at 1920 x 1200, with the same quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset inside to do all the work of endlessly opening and closing the Twitter and Facebook apps.
Sony’s also doing some hardcore design work on the tablet, reducing its chassis to just 6.9mm thick. If it exists. All we have to go on is the world of a usually reliable Xperia fan Twitter account. So this could just be a bit of tech spec fan fiction. [Twitter via Techradar]

I think I may retire my now aging w880i.
I’ve reflowed the solder many times, replaced the screen, had a board specially made for it after I cracked it during a drunken moment of hilarity. I just hope they haven’t used up all of the nintendinium (The stuff they made old game boys out of) because it was pretty much the most easily repairable item I have had about my body.
