Blackberry Empire claims these are shots of RIM’s N-Series BB10 handset that have leaked ahead of the official BB10 launch on January 30th. And if these are real shots, we’re intrigued to actually hold the phone to see how it handles.
The shots show the phone running RIM’s surprisingly functional new OS. From what we can see in the images, the handset’s squat, rounded design looks like a mashup between the smartphone status quo of today and the conservative simplicity that made RIM the businessman’s phone of choice for a decade. Whether this is the QWERTY savior RIM needs, we’ll just have to wait and see. [BlackBerry Empire via BGR]

Is This BlackBerry's QWERTY Savior?
BlackBerry Q10 Hands On: We Missed You, QWERTY
Nokia Lumia 920: The Great Windows Phone Hope
Don’t you remember the advert with twatface globe trotting DJ Diplo telling us all what’s going down? Blackberry’s are all about productivity. That means getting things done. No fucking about. Maximum security and maximum stability.
I may just start rocking a Lumia along with a BB10 device this year.
Why do you need two smart phones though? Isn’t that a bit like carrying an iPod and a walkman at the same time?
Cuz I’m extra smart!
Duh!!
What doyou think your other ear and Eye are for?
My two eyes allow me to have depth perception so that I can tell how far an object is away from me, and my two ears allow me to tell which direction the sound I am hearing is coming from.
I fail to see how my perception organs have in common with a Lumia and a BB. Please elaborate.
one eye and ear for each device, proper multitasking.
And actually your eyes depth perception only really functions at short range.
Humans are not lizard. Except for a few gifted individuals, the rest of mankind cannot look at two screens at the same time.
What about fish?
And how exactly would it be focusing on productivity? By just having an excellent keyboard and built in exchange integration? This is not a business case any more. Except for the keyboard you get all these functions in plenty other phones along with better media support and experience. How could one say BB bold for instance is a top business productivity phone not having even any kind of voip supproted natively by os (not talking about buying extra paid apps) or at least just compatibile skype version? And releasing a top series phone with 5MP camera without autofocus is just a very bad joke. This aint productivity any more, its a big joke.
My mother would just love it!
Windows phones will gain more popularity against BBs in next couple of years.
