If you’ve been looking forward to seeing what HTC’s got up its flagship phone-shaped sleeve, we’ve got good news: HTC’s holding an event in London on February 19th to launch what’s probably the incoming M7. Is there’s going to be a new King of the Androids wandering about before MWC? Looks like it.
Oh, and while we’re at it. The video above is supposedly of the shell of said HTC M7, which looks similar to what we’ve seen before. But don’t take the mysterious Chinese part supplier’s word for it. Until HTC officially dumps this thing in our laps, it could look like a banana for all we know. [TechRadar, 2]

No, not looking forward to any HTC or gold bracelets, sorry.
You surprise me T, I thought you were into all that cross dressing stuff.
HARDWARE CAMERA BUTTON
BEAT THAT
Touch screen that focuses on where you press on screen taking a photo at the same time, doesn’t that beat a clunky out of focus camera button?
Camera buttons are great for cameras with an eyepiece, you will need a good camera button for when they put that eyepiece on your phone, I believe that is happening around the 12th of Never. But good feature if you like to pretend at being a photographer taking quality photos on that shitty 1/3″ sensor like some inbred halfwit.
“hardware camera button” is something churned out in every modern phone review as a negative. I agree that touch-focus is superior in some respects, but having a button to click would make me feel far safer taking pictures with my shiny, new £500 whatjumacallit.
