It seems that everything is aligning for the launch of the next generation Xbox at E3 2013. We knew that the rumours are piling on. Then someone told us that the Xbox buildings at Microsoft’s campus are on lock down. And now we know that Xboxmeister Major Nelson is very excited about E3.
So excited, in fact, that he just posted a countdown on his blog. “And it’s on…” he says. Just 159 days left.
Indeed, it seems they are ramping up for a major launch. I doubt these signs have any other explanation but a next generation console. One that is designed to be a lot more than just a game console, finally completing the Xbox evolution, and which will be completely merged with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. [Major Nelson]
I can’t wait to see the PS4 and next Xbox, exciting! More exciting than phone releases to me.
knowing MS its massive hype and only for a Kinect LOL!!
But god do i hope its a new xbox.. cant say im too worried about the PS4, i prob will get one but not on launch.. i never play my ps3 as it is..

To win me over they need to stop the cheating (COD, MW etc) and bring new games and more dedicated to each console instead of across all platforms.
I don’t want same games over and over.
The platform holders love exclusives, but the big publishers like to cover all the bases to increase their profits. And with big games requiring bigger budgets it’s easy to see why they want to maximise their coverage.
And while many gamers like seeing notable games on their platform of choice, they’re just as often less pleased when a game of consequence is released on one they don’t own. It’s a tricky balance to strike.
Console specific games are a thorn in my side…
Well cod and mw are the same franchise……..and not made by microsft
It’s a shame ms don’t put lots of time and effort into platform exclusives like halo, gears of war, dantes inferno, bluedragon etc

I am just looking forward to the advances it will bring to PC gaming!
