According to Evleaks, on UnwiredView, this is a render from a start-up video for the much-rumoured HTC M7. The new flagship will apparently pack a 4.7-inch 1080p screen, along with a 1.7GHz quad-core chip backed by 2GB of RAM and LTE. If it ends up looking anything like the render with those specs, HTC might have a winner on its hands here.
We’re expecting to see the thing in the flesh come MWC next month, with HTC hoping that the M7 will turn the company’s declining fortunes around. According to the latest leaks, the M7 will bring back the humble IR port too, acting like a learning remote, which shows HTC’s trying to think out of the box a little bit, even if it looks remarkably similar to an iPhone 5. Considering HTC seems to be bucking the massive-phone trend, what with not pumping out a hand-stretching 5-incher, yet still packing it with top-end specs, it seems like it’s onto a winner to us, at the very least. HTC's M7 is 2013's High-Spec, 1080p Android Flagship
Are These the First Pictures of HTC's New Flagship Phone?
Apparently This Is What the Fabled Apple HDTV Will Look Like
“bucking the massive-phone trend” at 4.7 inches???
A 4.3 inch phone is still pretty massive.

What about the Butterfly?
It’s more the fact that smaller phones aren’t cheaper, lower specced phones.
The big grills look a bit odd, I think it’s just because it’s a white phone and stands out more.
Those big HTC grills are a hell to clean. The main downside of their phones.
Taking full advantage of the iPhone “No Suing” agreement here i see
I think HTC realised their mistake of pumping out too many similarly specced Android phones and are now focusing on a couple of flagships models.
They still haven’t managed to create a phone that matches the versatility of the HD2 though.
still use my HD2 (albeit with windows phone 7.8 now)
WHAT A PHONE!!!!!!!!!!
I reckon they should make use of the already strong relationship with Qualcomm, and throw a Snapdragon 600 in there, even if it is running at 1.7GHz!

Just Sayin’
Yep, it looks like the iphone 5. Good Artist copy, HTC steal.
But what they have done to differ itself is black middle and white boarder bits! The other color choice is white middle and black boarders.
And its reversed!
Oh, come on. This has more resemblance to the iPhone 5 than the vast majority of phones that Apple, Apple fans and certain journalists have accused of stealing designs, but you think HTC are on to a winner despite it looking “remarkably similar to an iPhone 5″.
If that was a render of Samsung Galaxy S4, they’d be accused of copying once again. Why are HTC not receiving the same criticism?
I agree, I hate Apple as much as any one but I’m so sick of all the phones trying to be the iPhone and this is an obvious rip off.
We don’t know if it is real or not yet though.
I doubt it, probably some chinese iPhone knock off.
I think you got the tags wrong, this is quite clearly the Iphone 5. No?
I was always a big fan of HTC and would welcome a return to their phones (especially after my SGS3 just died completely with a case of Sudden Death Syndrome
)
It will seem like a winner to me, like all my future mobiles, if it includes:
(a) MicroSD card slot (or 32/64Gb storage as standard at cheap price)
(b) Swappable battery
(c) Open to Modding community (I want Nexus like abilities to keep up to date!)
