If you own an Android phone that’s been officially PlayStation Certified by Sony and its people, there’s some hot freebie action to be had. The company’s giving away free PlayStation Mobile games, as a sort of bribe to make you try it all out.
The promotion lasts for six weeks, with Sony’s mobile division giving away one new game per week until the end of February. The first title on offer this week is “rhythmic-action scroller” Samurai Beatdown, which looks rather pretty and can’t be bad for nothing. It’s yours in return for jumping through a few signing-in and downloading hoops, if you have the right kind of phone. [Sony Mobile]

No Samsung’s?
Do they not want people’s money?
Samsung need to be inclined to pass their unreleased phones through SCEI’s certification process first.
Apparently not, I was disappointed to see no Note II especially with the power behind it but then again I suppose Sony want to make it exclusive to their own phones.
I’m disappointed to find the Nokia 3310 is not on that list.
Can’t handle the colour graphics apparently, otherwise it would have been fine
How about a list of certified phones?
Doh.
Indeed
I was a little surprised to find my recently purchased Xperia P hadn’t been certified yet. I’ve still got my Xperia Play and Vita though, so I’m not all that distressed about it.
Finally some love for my old Xperia Play! Whoop whoop… oh wait, WTF is all this crap? Looks almost as bad a the Windows Phone Market Place and I can’t download anything without a WiFi connection!
