I always amazed that these Lego machines don’t seem to need lubrication at all.
Some plastics are described as self lubricating. Nylon is a classical example. May be Lego pieces have similar properties?
i would imagine the motors burn out pretty quickly, due to the friction, but lego we we know is manufactured to very high tolerances so that’s probably why these machines work so well for so long
