Twitter appears to be down, meaning that our 140-character micro-conversations have come to a sudden halt. Maybe HMV killed it? What to do! Where to turn!
Seriously though, I’ve forgotten how to have a normal adult conversation. Let’s try to gin something up below. It’ll be… nice?
Seems like ages since I last saw the fail whale! Was trying to set up twitter on a Nokia Lumia 620 (bargain at £149 at O2) and was getting nowhere fast.
I just ran to Facebook, and there was, well, nothing there. Should have gone to G+….
It’s FB to check in with friends and G+ for articles/reading for me. seems to be working quite nicely.
then again I could just got to Flipboard and look at all of it.
Have to admit, ive been using g+ a little bit more recently. Mainly because im doing a little business with people who are only on there… but its actually quite a lot better than FB, IMHO.
Personally I’d ditch the 140chr limit and switch over to Google+

I requested to join that group at least a week and a half ago, perhaps even two weeks and my request hasn’t been granted yet
There was a prod sent out to all pending members on Sunday morning, and everyone was mentioned. Check your notifications.
Nothing in Notifications, when I look at the group the button is labelled “Cancel Join Request”.
Cancel and re-apply – It’ll force the notification at my end.

You’re right – generally I’m not too busy which is why requests get authorised almost immediately when people actually reply!
