Dyson’s got something new up its sleeve. Something that’s been three years in the making, with 125 engineers on the case, that’s cost £40 million to bring to market, and will be revealed next Tuesday. Here’s a teaser video, showing something being lasered. Anyone got any ideas?
We’re guessing it has to be something to do with its digital motor, because, really, that’s what Dyson is all about. But hell, I have no idea what this could be. A pump? Who’d buy that? Maybe a Dyson electric bike? Who knows. Either way, we’ll find out next Tuesday.

domestic laser cutter
that’d be awesome but i’m go going for 3d printer!
their stuff is always about sucking or blowing……….. sex toys?
My immediate thought was a family sex toy – because sharing is more fun!
Fleshlight with Root Cyclone technology
Mechanised blow dart gun.
It’s a really powerful air compressor thingy for blowing crumbs out of your keyboard…
So powerful you end up with ‘qwertyuioplkjhgfdsazxcvbnm’ in your important presentation
dust-free owl waxer
Germ annihilation laser turret!
I’d go for deathstar, but it’s probably a fridge freezer.
Dyson Colon Cleanse Kit.
For all your colonic irrigation needs.
That is all.
‘Root Cycolon’
Moustache de-crumber
does anyone care ?
it will be overpriced, over designed, under engineered, and crappy matierials.
dyson and apple supposedly been working on a shared project as well.
will be as much use as the “bladeless”fan, none at all.
Obviously never used the blade less fan then…
or the hoover, its freeking great.

The bladeless fan is amazing, I have the heater version. Bought from ebay from Dysons seconds account. You would be surprised the difference it makes over the older designs. The air feels smoother and it travels further.
The vacuum cleaners are the same. Spent years dragging a Henry around, which was OK. But got a small Dyson and the difference is again amazing, the carpets changed colour and looked a lot newer / cleaner. It was more than just a hoovering.
I got a small one as well to do the car, it probably only lasts 20mins but it does the job. It managed to get dog hairs out of the lining which other vacuums and car valets have failed to do.
The plastics are tough and I have yet to break anything nor know one who has. The design functions as needed and work better than the competition.
Why ya hate Dyson so much. Bad experience with a vacuum and some lube?

Phahaha!
Isn’t is just the “Faucet That Also Dries Your Hands”
Looks like the same curves and stuff?

Think you might be onto something here.
Let’s hope the laser is only used to produce it then!
I’m running hot and cold on this, but they could clean up with a good tap. Looks expensive, will they do HP so you can pay on the drip.
Too many jokes, maybe I shouldn’t faucet.
I agree, I’m blown away. It could’ve been a wash out, but they have been tapping the hygiene market for a while, they’re bound to have soaked up some of the market share.
I can see the competition being hung out to dry once this gets into full flow.
I thought someone would spout out about this leak. This is such a drain, it isn’t punny any more.
From the looks of it, it’s just a really shiny set of interconnecting metal tubes. That’s my bet.
that my friend is a bike!
An automated BOSCH assassin?
White gold Dyson napkin rings?
A cylon, perhaps?
long as its not another vaccum
we have had nothing but trouble with ours, YES they lose suction and we have had to replace our stretch pipe part over 6 times already as it always tears :S
we keeping it till end of guarantee then switching brands
Well, we already have taps that dispense boiling water as well as cold and hot. So, just add the drying function and you’ve got something worth buying.
No need for a kettle, and no need for a towel or wasting kitchen roll.
Maybe it can blow out really, really hot air so it can toast a slice of bread. Needs a built in blow torch!
My money’s on a non-conventional air conditioner unit. It’s the right time to release one…
Look at it, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a fuel cell of some kind.
