Holy shit, was going to get this the other day as a stop gap before next generation phones hit the shelves . I spent an hour in various stores and was quite frankly disgusted at the lack of service. In one 02 store I sat on the sofa for about 10 minutes while a member of staff walked past me, this was right before closing so it was unbelievably obvious. In another, I shouted at the lone sales person and barked my question at him as he’d been avoiding me for 5 mins and busying himself with surfing the net and playing his ‘choice tunes’ loudly through the stores speaker system. There was also an argument raging on in the EE store I walked into, a customer wanted a refund and the chavvy sales adviser refused point blank despite it being within the allotted time. It had turned into a really awful spectacle for other customers.
The girl in the Vodafone store was lovely though, nice, friendly and all smiles.
I’m going to get this Nokia I think. It’s ridiculously cheap for what it is and over £100 less than other places I walked into. Wonder if CPW will the price match it.
Damn. Last one sold 5 minutes before I got to the store. I’m feeling a mixture of absolute rage and soul destroying disappointment.
I guess this is why people go on killing sprees.
order online? It is a nifty little phone mind you, got my mum one last week, so seeing it drop by £30 is a bit galling.
By the time I got back it was all sold out online unfortunately. There was a window of opportunity to order via phone but before I found out about it I decided to go to the gym, so missed that chance too! A bit of a fuck-up of a day really.
Yeah, it was £229 at the Vodafone store and a ridiculous £299 in Phones4U so in a way the price you paid is still one of the cheapest.
