Apple’s finally gotten around to fixing the Exchange looping bug that was sucking batteries dry with another point update, but it’s failed to nail shut the gaping hole in its lockscreen. Glad to see Apple’s got its priorities straight.
The good news is that the Evad3rs have done the business and made sure you can jailbreak iOS 6.1.2, no problems. So, it’s safe to upgrade to nuke the bugs; you’ll just have to re-jailbreak to get your Nitrous, SBSettings and other essential tweaks back. [Apple]

I have to say, jailbreaking your iPhone is so easy these days. I just updated, and jailbroke the thing in about 15 mins. Simple.
15 minutes? That’s ages compared to Android.
I disagree.
To paraphrase the late unlamented “You’re doing it wrong”.
Nexus Root Toolkit is doing it wrong?
If it’s taking more that 15 mins to root your phone. Admittedly I still haven’t rooted the n4 but. I’ve never known unlocking and root take more than 5 mins and that was on the G1 when you have to type all the instructions in by hand.
Are you taking into account installing drivers and backing up?
Ah, no. Was Sam?
Not in my experience! Took bloody ages to root my Kindle Fire HD.
That’s not Android then is it?
Sorry new to jailbreaking. Does this mean that If I upgrade I would be starting my jailbreak from scratch again. If so is there an easy way to backup and restore that backup on the upgraded OS? It’s starting to sound like a lot of hassle for a iOS x.x.2 upgrade
All depends on whether battery draining is rendering your phone unusable, doesn’t it…
