The Raspberry Pi truly is a mini-marvel, and it’s ignited hackers everywhere — people can make almost anything with it, including sending the thing into space. In fact, it’s gotten so mainstream that even the Design Museum is holding Pi-hacking competitions.
It’s stuck the Raspberry Pi in its Design of the Year competition, asking the public to submit their own hand-baked Pi inventions. Considering we’ve got a healthy Pi-hacking Giz UK community, I reckon one of us can probably win the self-described “Oscars of the design world”. Get hacking folks; the closing date is March 4th, 5pm. [Design Museum]
