The Blaster is Nixon’s fist Bluetooth speaker. It’s supposed to last 18 hours on just a single charge.
Nixon is a fashion company, and it isn’t exactly known for making great audio product. But holy crap, that kind of battery life is impressive. For comparison, you get 8-10 hours out of Jawbone Jambox, as well as really awesome sound. We can’t speak on the audio quality of the Blaster yet; it goes on sale this May. Price hasn’t been announced yet, either. But what we do know? 18 hours is incredible endurance. [Transworld via Acquire]
I use a Jambox Jawbone, and I can tell you the 8-10 hour life is total and utter rubbish.
I get more like 20-25 hours. Seriously, the thing runs for ever. I’m sure it could be shorter if you absolutely thrash it, but in normal use the official figures seriously understate the runtime.

Myself and 3 mates have all got nixon watches and all 3 of us have had to retun them with faults. The strap then broke on mine after 12 months normal use-this watch cost me £300. I also have a nixon wallet that wore out rapidly.
Cheap tat made to look good but function and last poorly.
