Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson Are in a Movie About Being Google Interns

By Casey Chan on at

Looking to recapture the magic of the first half of Wedding Crashers, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are teaming up to become Google interns in their upcoming movie The Internship.

It's a classic tale of Vince Vaughn trying to talk his way out of ridiculously unfortunate situations, by overtalking and stringing words together, because it was once funny in Swingers, but not nearly as funny anymore. Meanwhile, Owen Wilson will cluelessly stare in the opposite direction of his patented crooked nose's slant, wondering when his buddy Wes Anderson is going to cast him in his next movie. Which is to say, in 2013, their shtick isn't all that funny anymore.

Basically the movie is about old dinosaurs (that would be Vaughn and Wilson) trying to crack the nerd-cool world of Google by being interns. The nerds are the bullies now! Watch Vaughn and Wilson use sharpies on glass windows and get made fun of! Watch Vaughn and Wilson be amazed by people finger flexing the Rubik's Cube! Watch Vaughn and Wilson go on a chase to find Professor Xavier at Stanford! It's silly. Maybe it'll be silly fun.*

*I'll recant everything I wrote if this movie is as silly fun as Old School. In fact, this movie sounds pretty much like Old School: Google Edition. I wouldn't mind that. See, I'm turning around already. [The Internship]
