Fujifilm's XP200 is a Bomb-Proof, Wi-Fi Monstrosity

This 1990s mess of chunky coloured lumps is Fujifilm's new XP200, the latest in its toughened series of point & shooters for people who subscribe to the extreme outdoorsy lifestyle and haven't already binned the P&S in favour of using their phone.

The XP200 offers water, dust and drop resistance, with the camera rated to survive a 15 metre immersion, a two metre drop and being frozen to -10. The model comes with a useful burst mode button, letting users easily fire off sequences of shots, powering a 16-Megapixel CMOS sensor with a maximum ISO sensitivity of 6400.

Fujifilm's also announced this one today ...

...the S8400, a Wi-Fi-enabled bridge camera with enormous 44x optical zoom and 16-Megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor for... bird watchers.
