A new LTE-enabled HTC phone has been submitted for approval by American authorities, seemingly confirming previous reports that the company is giving the idea of a Facebook-centric smartphone another shot.
Not much more is said in the official filing, although earlier leaks claimed the HTC Myst should arrive with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm chipset and 5-Megapixel camera, alongside a 720p resolution 4.3" display that'll let you examine everyone's endless baby photos in high quality.
HTC's previous "Facebook phone" attempts were the HTC Salsa and ChaCha models, which basically just had a button on them to open up HTC's own Facebook app. Hopefully this new one might take things a little further down the integration route. [FCC via Engadget]
