Rumour: Specs of First Google/Motorola Hardware Development Listed

By Gary Cutlack on at

Sources, who may be genuine or may just be a bored man on the internet, have listed a few tech specs for the forthcoming rumoured Motorola/Google X-Phone Android project.

The highly-placed industry insider -- or bored man on the internet -- says the Motorola X-Phone will arrive running on Nvidia's Tegra 4i chipset, powering a 4.7" 1080p resolution display, with a 16-Megapixel rear camera and, so it is claimed, a 5-Megapixel front-facing chat cam for showing random people your genitals in previously unseen clarity.

Given that Google has already claimed it inherited an uninspiring product pipeline when it acquired Motorola, those relatively tame specs tally up nicely with the idea of a half-hearted, mid-year, semi-Nexus. Would something akin to a Nexus 4 with a 1080p display make a good interim upgrade for the Android hardcore? [AndroidWorld via Android Authority]
