A fire truck. This swamp thing action figure. My Ninja Turtles Shellraiser. Those were my favourite toys growing up—I loved ‘em so much that I still remember them to this day. That’s why it’s so interesting to see the toys that kids give special attention to. They’re going to remember it for life. Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti’s Toy Stories photography series show children from all over the world with their most prized possessions: dolls, stuffed animals, board games and… guns?
You can see the difference in economic status by the toys the children have. Some girls have countless dolls, others just have one stuffed animal. Galimberti talked about an interesting wrinkle though: those with more toys had a harder time sharing than those with less. So even if it’s heartbreaking to see a child with only one doll, it’s heartwarming to know the kid is growing up right.

For me the one of the boy with toy guns is the worst. I hate to think how he may grow up seeing the world
A world where gun is dangerous and people can be killed by it, so he must be careful in how he use his guns, and take proper maintenance of it so that it doesn’t misfire.
I would hope so, and maybe the police helmet demonstrates he doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of the law.
Or it most likely came inside a pack with a really awesome gun and handcuffs in it.
Well, there’s a plastic walkie talkie at the bottom right, so you may be right.

I used to love toy cars when I was a child right up until the day I received my first computer a Sinclair zx81 then shortly after a BBC micro. Those were my favorite new toys and also my fascination with gadgets began.
I had one for my first computer! Was awesome! Had hundreds of games with it too because they were so easy to copy back then. Just get a dual deck tape recorder and jobs a goodun!! Miss that thing man!
I used to make little rockets as a kid
