Crack Chinese Apple Pirates Launch Fully Hacked Web-Based App Store

By Gary Cutlack on at

The Chinese hacking team behind the KuaiYong illegal app marketplace has launched new web portal 7659.com, which lets Chinese iOS users download and sync pirated Apple apps direct from a web browser without the need for an Apple ID or... money.

The site also lets users download hacked popular apps without the need to jailbreak their device, which is a potentially a huge worry for Apple. We can't imagine it being allowed to stay on the internet for very long, but in the meantime users in China and apparently also Hong Kong can enjoy installing guilt-laden free apps on their devices.

There's currently only a Chinese-language installer available, but an English one is apparently coming soon. Then things will really turn nasty. [Tech in Asia via The Register]
