Google Drive now automatically syncs your files for offline editing, breaking the final stronghold of the traditional Office app. So, the time has come to ask the question: Do we really need anything but Google Docs anymore?
I, personally, still use Word. That’s simply because sometimes the internet cuts out and I’ve lost my work a couple of times when that happens. By writing offline I save myself that pain. I only use Word, specifically, because I have it there. But now that Google Drive is fully operative offline, I’m seriously considering ditching Word, or any other word processor for that matter.
What do you guys use for writing, and other office duties?
