"Elves and Pixies" Cartoon Porn Earns Man Three Month Jail Sentence

By Gary Cutlack on at

A New Zealand man has been given a three-month prison sentence for possessing weird Japanese cartoon porn, with the odd scenes of elves, trolls and pixies bonking each other deemed illegal by his country's enforcers.

The man's legal defence claimed it was clear the "trolls and pixies" depicted in the videos weren't human, as is often the case in the vast quantities of Japanese manga and hentai material that's pumped out every year, but the judge still found him guilty of having "objectionable material" in contravention of the country's porn laws.

The problem came about from the age of the fictional elves and pixies. They were apparently young-looking elves and pixies, which led to the videos to be perceived as child porn of a sort -- with anti-porn groups suggesting that it could lead to an urge for the real thing featuring humans.
