Mark your calendars, guys. According to leaked documents seen by 9to5mac, on the 11th of June original iPhones suddenly become 'obsolete' in the eyes of Apple, and undeserving of further loving care and attention.
Becoming obsolete means that anyone who's managed to hang onto a working original iPhone until now (congrats, btw), won't be able to get any kind of repairs for their handsets in Apple stores. The only exception to this is California, where a quirk of law means the phones are 'vintage' rather than 'obsolete', which is both incredible and incredibly hipster. [9to5mac]
