HTC is said to be planning a refreshed attempt on the tablet scene later this year, with rumours suggesting it has two Windows 8 models, the R7 and R12, due for launch some time during 2013.
The two tablets, which a crude decoding of the model numbers would suggest to be 7" and 12" Windows RT models, see PhoneArena's tipster claiming the smaller 7" unit will arrive powered by Qualcomm's new leading edge Snapdragon 800 chipset, clocked at a whopping 2.3GHz and working alongside 2GB of RAM.
The larger R12, meanwhile, is said to feature a high resolution 2048 x 1536 display, putting it up there with the iPads and Nexus 10s of the world in terms of pixel-counting fun. Both could be available this October, if you believe people on the internet. [PhoneArena via Techradar]
