While Sony and Microsoft might have crafted the boxes for the next generation consoles, it's AMD that's providing the guts to make these beauties fly. AMD says this is what's possible with the chips inside the PS4 and Xbox One.

The trailer's for AMD's new A-Series APUs, which are based on the custom chips it's provided to Microsoft and Sony. Apparently they're capable of handling much higher loads of graphical prowess and computational crunching than more traditional CPU-GPU systems, but then AMD would say that.
