Win Free Tickets to Cast Your Vote In the Design Museum's People's Choice Award

By Kat Hannaford on at

The panel of esteemed judges cast their votes for the Design Museum's Designs of the Year back in April, but as the annual exhibition reaches its final few weeks, Gizmodo UK's been roped in to tell you -- yes, you! -- to get down to London's southbank museum to help pick the Visitor's Vote winner. If you didn't think the Gov.uk website was worthy of being this year's winner, here's how you can have your say (and win one of five pairs of free tickets).

The good news is, you're not confined to just the seven category winners. All 99 nominations (take a look at my personal favourites here) are eligible for your voting power, with visitors simply needing to place a sticker over their favourite design in a pop-up polling station; a system which may not be as scientific or private as the general elections' polling booths, but it more than certainly pays homage to artist nominee Yayoi Kusama's work.

The winner will be announced July 5th, but you have until July 7th to get down to the Design Museum to check out the exhibition. To make it even easier (well, cheaper) for you to visit the exhibition, just leave a comment on this post telling us why you want to win one of the five pairs of tickets we have on offer, and we'll email the winners at 5pm Monday 10th of June. Our usual competition terms & conditions apply.

If you're one of the winners, snap a pic of yourself next to the Gizmodo UK logo at the polling booth, and tweet it to @GizmodoUK, wontcha?
