This Is What iOS 7 Will Look Like on the iPad

By Sam Gibbs on at

Despite Apple not really showing us what iOS 7 on the larger screened iDevices will look like -- just the iPhone and iPod touch -- it seems the iOS 7 emulator has a load of secrets to unveil. Here's what an iPad with iOS 7 will probably look like.

Apparently it's all still very much a work in progress, hence why the iOS 7 developer beta for the iPad isn't available yet, but thanks to some curious devs, you can try it yourself if you've got Xcode 5 up and running.

According to 9to5Mac, simply copy the folder:

/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/

Applications/iPhone Simulator.app/Contents/Resources/Devices/iPad (Retina).deviceinfo

To:

/Applications/Xcode5-DP.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/Library

/PrivateFrameworks/SimulatorHost.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Devices

Then fire up the iOS Simulator and select \"iPad (Retina)\" as your device of choice.

Anyway, for those who don't have a Mac, Xcode, or simply can't be bothered, here's a little collection of screenshots courtesy of apfelpage.de. [apfelpage.de via 9to5Mac]
