Microsoft's E3 keynote started with a look at yesteryear's console, the Xbox 360. It looks like it'll be dragged into 2013, being updated to look and feel like the Xbox One hardware. There'll also be some changes to Xbox Live Gold, with two free games offered per month from July 1st, and instead of Microsoft Points, games will just be bought in local currencies.
The first two games on offer are Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 -- some classic titles there, along with further additions Splinter Cell, Final Fantasy and yup, Grand Theft Auto 5.
The new model will be available today, at least in the US, and along with that new look, it'll be "smaller, sleeker, and quieter than ever." No word on whether the specs will be the same or get a bump-up.
