David Cameron's "War on Porn" is Just a Pre-Filled Censorship Checkbox

By Gary Cutlack on at

The PM has announced what some reactionary nutjobs are describing as a "war on porn" and a mass censorship of the UK's internet access, but as the letter sent to UK ISPs told us last week it is nothing of the sort. It's a checkbox. There's going to be a checkbox that'll be ticked "on" by default, which you can then turn off. Is it a worthy shot at making a difference [O] or just a shameful headline-grabbing effort that won't change a thing [X]? [BBC]
