Digicame Info claims to have unearthed pictures and specs of the new PanasonicGX7 — and if accurate, it offers specs that beat current flagship the GH-3, for less money.
According to Digicame Info, the camera packs a 16-megapixel sensor, 2.76 million dot electronic viewfinder that can be tilted 90 degrees, in-body image stabilisation, and 1/8000th of a second shutter speed. All that beats the £1,000 GH-3, which is the current flagship. Elsewhere, Digicame Info claims the new camera will offer a 25,600 max ISO, silent mode shooting, NFC, WiFi, focus peaking, an 80-degree tiltable LCD and full HD, and 60 fps video.
There are also a rumours floating around that the camera will cost around €1,000 on the continent — which would be £870 (or lower!) in the UK. Of course, a sizeable pinch of salt is required — as there's absolutely no official word on the existence, pricing or availability of the device. But if the leak is accurate, this thing could be worth waiting for. [Digicame Info via 43 Rumors]
