Following on from the oodles of leaks and ahead of today's anticipated official launch, press shots of the rumoured Nokia Lumia 1020 have emerged. As you'd expect from a phone going big on camera performance, there's an enormous bulge around the back, plus it comes in trademark Garish Nokia Yellow, should you have the balls to try to pull that off.

The PR shots, acquired by The Verge, show that the previous leak of pics of the front of the phone was on the money, as it's little more than your standard, rather bland rectangle, complete with the usual Windows Phone buttons when viewed front-on. But it's around the back where the fun stuff sits, with the Lumia 1020 featuring that enormous sensor bulge to accommodate the 41-Megapixel PureView lens and image stabilisation system.

The only thing left for Nokia to unveil at its event later today is what the headphones might look like, the smell of the plastic and the box it'll come in. [The Verge]
