Apparently your average UK bod spends 90 minutes gawping at their favourite TV shows and movies on devices other than the TV in their living room. That means a phone, a tablet or laptop. That’s a bit much, isn’t it? Do you watch lots of TV on your phone or something?
I can’t say I ever watch TV on my phone or tablet, and only really the occasional thing while travelling on my laptop. But according to the latest stats from TV broadcasters, that’s the face of UK television consumption — three 30-minute shows a month on mobile devices per person.
I guess you’ve got a myriad of options now, what with BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD, Sky Player, BT Sport, and others. So, Giz faithful, as the more technologically adept among the British population, how many hours of TV or movie watching do you reckon you get through on your phones or tablets? [The Guardian]
